SPECIAL PRODUCTS AND NEW FUELS

Pressure and atmospheric tanks for the storage of traditional and new generation fuels, chemical products, gases and industrial fluids.

Lapesa has a section for the manufacture of special pressure or atmospheric tanks (ESP), intended for the storage, transport and service of specific gases and fluids, such as hydrogen and compressed air, refrigerant gases, chemical products and fluids in general.
The design and approval of these products is carried out by our technical department in close communication with the client, in order to adapt the final product as best as possible to the specific requirements of the project.

We define as special tanks, those that, due to their dimensions, characteristics, content or application, differ from the standard products contained in our product catalogs and are the subject of a specific technical project. Our technical department designs the product, adapting it to the specific needs of the project, in accordance with current building codes and European regulations or, if required, according to the American standard ASME VIII, Div. 1.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS for special tanks (ESP)

Bottles manufactured in accordance with the "Dangerous Goods Transport Regulations", ADR and current regulations applicable to the product. Supplied with assembled valves and inertizing of the assembly with nitrogen gas.

LARGE CAPACITY BUFFER TANKS

Tanks for centralized accumulation of hot water in the primary circuit, for use in distribution circuits for heating and production of domestic hot water. The growing trend in the use of alternative energies as a primary energy source, for later use in closed heating circuits and domestic hot water production, is reflected in centralized energy accumulation projects and in those that use inertia tanks of large dimensions prepared for this purpose.

  • Typical capacities: from 20 to 100 m3.
  • Design pressure: 3 to 6 bar.
  • Interior finish: clean of particles.
  • Exterior finish: SA 2 ½ shot blasting, antioxidant primer.
  • Prepared for incorporation of thermal insulation on site (possibility of supply with thermal insulation and finished in aluminum or stainless steel from the factory).

For higher capacities or design pressures, please contact us.

TANKS FOR REFRIGERANT GASES

Large capacity tanks, specific for the storage of refrigerant gases. With capacities up to 400 m3 and maximum diameter of 4.2 m, designed for horizontal or vertical installation and with design pressure according to the content and application. With metal structure, stair accesses and platforms according to the project requirements and the possibility of surface finishes for special protection, due to their use or location.
Designed and manufactured according to the current European building code and regulations, or according to the American standard ASME, Div. 1.

SILOS

SILOS

Silos in smooth steel or stainless steel sheet, for storage of solids or liquids and application in various sectors:

  • Textile, paper and cellulose industries.
  • Chemical industry.
  • Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Petrochemical industry.
  • Food products: sugar, flour, coffee, wines, juices, etc.
  • Fertilizer industry.
  • Agricultural sector.

Our clients will define the specific characteristics regarding the elements to be incorporated for the loading and unloading of the product, adapting the construction of the silo to their requirements.

The dimensions of the manufactured silos vary depending on the needs of the project. In general, they incorporate an upper opening with a lid for filling, another opening for inspection and cleaning, and an opening with a filter for aerating the ensiled product.
Cylindrical tank made of sheet steel or stainless steel. The lower part is made up of a conical section with opening and discharge valve. The silo support element is located at the base; this is supported by a skirt (an extension of the body to support the silo), or by a small support structure formed by structural profiles.

Types and characteristics

According to the types of products to be stored and manufacturing material:

Silos
  • SMOOTH SHEET METAL SILOS WITH SKIRT.
  • METALLIC SILOS OF SMOOTH SHEET ON STRUCTURE.
  • SILOS FOR ROAD SALT.
  • SMOOTH SHEET METAL SILOS WITH SKIRT.
